Hopi Ear Candles
Hopi ear candles are named after the Native American tribe who first introduced this gentle therapy to the West. The Hopi nation is renowned for their extensive knowledge of healing and their spiritual lifestyle. The translation of the word Hopi means "peaceful ones". Ear candles are used widely throughout North America and Asia and although the current treatment has come to us from the Hopi tribe, the use of ear candles to treat ear problems has been known for centuries, having been used by the Egyptians, Romans and Greeks.
The treatment itself is very relaxing and includes an aromatherapy sinus and face massage to help prolong the effects of the treatment and to ease sinus congestion and tense muscles. The ear candles themselves generate a massage-like effect on the eardrum by their light suction action and the movement of the flame which together create a vibration of air in the ear candle. This produces a pleasant feeling of warmth and a balance of pressure in the ears, forehead and sinuses. It can help improve blocked sinuses, free breathing restrictions and increase your sense of smell.
Hopi ear candles can be used to treat the following conditions:
• Excessive, Compacted or excess ear wax in the ears
• Helps to stimulate the energy response and flow locally
• Hearing impairments such as poor or muffled hearing
• Stress and sleeping disorders
• Blocked ears and sinuses

• Regulates pressure in conditions such as: headaches, migraine, rhinitis & glue ear
