Heather Booker
Having carried out extensive training in Swedish Massage, Holistic Clinical Aromatherapy, Reiki and Reflexology in 1998 and 1999, Heather set up Serenity in 1999 to offer clients a range of Treatments to suit each individuals needs. This was followed with training in Chiang Mai in Thai Massage, and amongst other new Treatments further training in Seichem, Karuna and Angelic Reiki.
What began as a new way of life soon evolved into a passion to be able to provide clients Treatments with expertise, knowledge, compassion and experience which would leave each person feeling relaxed, cared for and would address whatever issues each person brought to the treatment with them.
From this the idea for a Therapy Centre which would build on this ethos was born, and in 2009 The Serenity Centre became a reality and a way of bringing together Practitioners with the same holistic professional approach, experience and knowledge who could offer a range of Treatments to suit all requirements.

Imogen Hazel
Imogen is an integrative practitioner, offering Counselling, Regression Therapy DMP, Past life Therapy DMP and Creative Personal Development. She trained at The Oasis School of Human Development, a whole person learning centre and obtained an Advanced Diploma in Developing People and Human Relations Practice, Counselling and an Advanced Diploma in Transpersonal development. Imogen is currently working towards completing her training with Rodger Woolger in DMP, Deep Memory Process which is a Regression and Past Life Therapy.
She is committed to personal and professional development and has regular professional supervision from BACP accredited Supervisors for counselling and DMP accredited Supervisors for the Deep Memory Process.
Imogen had two years experience as a volunteer counsellor at Bradford Cancer Support, counselling people with cancer, those caring for a cancer patient and those bereaved through cancer. She received several training weekends from the centre. She has also worked with private clients bringing varied issues. The Creative Personal Development uses skills from the above qualifications and through her own explorations, including meditation and shamanic healing training. She works with clients to empower them to bring about positive changes in their lives, drawing out a person’s full potential embracing a holistic approach.

Angela Huby
Angie is a Harrogate based professional astrologer. She holds the Diploma of the Mayo School of Astrology and offers a service based around both private readings and personally written birth chart readings by mail order. Her chart readings cover psychological profiling and in-depth character analysis, forecasting, children's charts and synastry (relationship compatibility studies). Areas covered include family relationships, friendship, personal relationships and marriage, career and vocational guidance and health among others.

Abigail Graves
Abigail graduated as a Homeopath from the Lakeland College of Homeopathy, Cumbria in the Summer of 2009 after successfully completing 5 years of study and intensive clinical training. She has a core of patients in the Leeds and Bradford area and now feels the time has come to see patients in her own practice environment and has decided to join the Therapists at The Serenity Centre. Abigail is also currently in the process of registering with the Society of Homeopaths.
She frequently combines the use of modern homeopathic approaches together with other natural systems of healing, such as Flower Essences and Tissue Salts in her treatments. Abigail is also a fully qualified Reiki Practitioner.

Bernette van Kal
Bernette graduated in South Africa in 2004 and settled in the UK in 2005. After practising in Cambridgeshire for the last five years she has recently relocated to Harrogate. Bernette is registered with the General Chiropractic Council and is a
member of the British Chiropractic Association and SOTO Europe.
In practice Bernette predominantly uses Sacro-Occipital Technique which is a gentle form of Chiropractic. She does however use a range of Chiropractic techniques (including diversified, activator and dry needling) depending on the condition being treated.
