The Serenity Centre offers a number of courses, workshops and circles throughout the year. Whilst all of them are designed to increase your knowledge in a fun yet informative way, some are ideal for qualified therapists, others are for everyone of a like mind looking to expand their horizons. Auras, Chakra's & Colour Therapy
An informative workshop which provides information on the
7 main chakras; the auric layers and what the colours of the aura and
the chakras mean. Learn how chakras influence our moods, how colour can
change moods and what an aura is. We use practical exercises on seeing
auras, balancing chakras and testing for your soul colour.

Spiritual Growth
and Development Circle
A Development Circle for your Spiritual Growth and Development. Supporting each individual to help you grow along your own individual spiritual path.
Working with like-minded people with positive energies and love.
The workshops/circles will require 8 weeks commitment from each of us attending.
You will learn the importance of:
• Grounding and Protection
• Opening and closing yourself spiritually.
• Working with your Guides, Spirit and Angels.
• Tuning into your gifts and abilities.
• Trusting yourself as well as Spirit.
• Unconditional Love
You will learn:
• to give readings working with Cards, Ribbons, Flowers and Psychometry.
• to give the information you receive in a positive loving way.
These circles are subject to prompt starting times to avoid disruption of the meditation that is held to open the evening, approximately 15 to 20 minutes.

Ascended Masters Evenings
The Ascended Masters have a vital role to play in the current and future climate of our planet and the universe. To find out more about the Masters, their roles, tasks and intentions we will look at each Ascended Master, the 7 Rays and what each means, we can carry out work to see which ray you resonate with and what that means for you and your role in this lifetime. In order to fully understand the Ascended Masters we will touch on the Ascension and some of the Archangels. This workshop takes place over a two-month period with one evening session each fortnight. Each session aims to provide interesting information about the role of the Ascended Masters and how you can help with their work. Sessions will take place on a Wednesday evening from 6.30 - 8.30pm twice a month. Goal Attainments with Vision Boards
Have you ever wondered how successful people just seem to keep on being successful? Have you dreamt of achieving more? Do you know what your dreams are? Or are you spending your life running around chasing your tail? If this sounds like you and you would like to know how to stop, focus, find your goals and work towards achieving them then Vision Boards may just be one way of helping you achieve this. Vision boards are easy and fun to create, can be changed as you go along and help you to focus your intentions. Usui Reiki
Reiki has increased in popularity over the last few years. This wonderful therapy has spread worldwide, and the beauty of reiki is that anyone, at any age can do it. Each attunement expands your vibrations and increases the amount of energy that your body can channel through it. Reiki is personal and holistic, it helps people become whole. We are all individuals and reiki acknowledges this and will work with you in a gentle and loving manner to help you to achieve a life which is happy, healthy and loving. Animal Magic
Using information gained over a number of years, this interesting workshop looks at understanding the symbolism of the animal and bird kingdom. What does it mean if you have a brown bear as a spirit guide, what do magpies really symbolise? Where do the old stories attached to certain animals and birds come from?
Guided meditation will introduce you to your animal totem - your own special animal guide with which you share a lifetime.

Sounds of Serenity
The Healing Power of Sound
In our rushed modern lives it is hard to find a place to feed the soul and relax.
Throughout time percussion instruments have been used to achieve an altered state whereby relaxation and spiritual wisdom can be enhanced; chanting and singing bowls have been used for meditations. They have also been used to unite groups and communities and to achieve ecstasy. This workshop offers the chance to experience different ancient types of sound and shamanic journeying, to attain this healing state. We will Journey to other worlds to find sources of wisdom and healing. Meditate to find our own sounds, songs and a deeply peaceful state and use singing bowls and voice for healing sound baths, which are beneficial and help balance and repair at a deep level. This is an experiential workshop that invites you to bring questions that you are working with, to find your own source of spiritual wisdom and to give new perspectives. The workshop fee is £50, either 4 evening or 1 full day (lunch not included). There is the option to continue these evenings, after the initial four weeks, dependent on sufficient numbers. A £15 deposit is required to secure a place. The next workshop will be Saturday 18th February 2012.

Angelic Reiki Levels 1 & 2
This system of healing uses reiki symbols attuned to the soul vibration. The course is certified by ITEC, and covers all of the basic knowledge and understanding of the human body and how to work with it safely and offers knowledge of business and professional conduct. Holistic Aromatherapy*
Another ITEC certified Diploma in Aromatherapy which is for qualified Massage Therapists. Learn all about essential oils and their many uses, safety guidance and contraindications, essential oil chemistry and how to give a full body aromatherapy massage. This is a wonderful, detailed course run by Sylvia who has been an Aromatherapy practitioner and teacher for over 20 years and who brings aromatherapy to life using her knowledge and her intuitive skills. Serenity Sisterhood Circle
This circle will meet for a commitment of four weeks, maturing into a group which runs itself as a community.
In most cultures women held the community together and supported each other, often meeting in circles to talk, tell stories and share creative crafts. Today we are often distant from our families, spend time in insular activities and have lost the community support.
It is an opportunity to create our own community of support. A place set aside to listen deeply to each other, mark important life transitions with our own created rituals, as well as to find a place to explore our creativity.

Talking with Angels
This course has run for over 10 years, featured on TV and has proven increasingly popular over recent years. Spend a whole day learning about angels, what they are, how to recognise an angel and why they are concerned with us. Guided meditation will introduce you to your own guardian angel and teach you how to recognise your angels energy. Learn about the Archangels and when to call them in.
